In Their Own Words

These are real accounts from people who chose the road less traveled. More stories are added as they come in.

"The program didn't give me an easier path to the bar. It gave me a harder one — and I will grow into a better lawyer because of it."

I found out about the Law Office Study Program by happenstance. In 2019 I had completed my MBA in China, returned to the States with no clear direction, and ended up working as a full-time paralegal for my uncle — a criminal defense attorney. Two years in, he suggested law school. I pushed back on the debt. He suggested the LOSP instead.

What followed was four years of early mornings, late nights, a Baby Bar failure, a Baby Bar pass, and eventually a California Bar pass on my first attempt. The naysayers will tell you the pass rates are abysmal. Historically they're not wrong. They're also not talking about you.
